Horse Shows

For those families and children that are interested, we love to participate in horse shows. Horse shows are a fun way to gain experience and spend time with your barn friends.

During COVID we participated in three virtual horse shows. A virtual horse show is where a video of you riding is submitted to a judge to review and place. These were fun, but not as great as traveling to a horse show for the day.
We’ve done one day show this year and it was AWESOME! 12 kids from the barn showed in every division including halter, walk only, English, western, walk/trot and even jumping.

 

It was such a great learning experience and everyone loved it!
We also do two larger weekend horse shows a year at Earl Warren Showgrounds in Santa Barbara.

These are a lot of work because we basically move our entire barn for the weekend, but also a great adventure.
